I have to admit that I have a soft spot for toys or anything geekery, I now have a soft spot for the amazing designs of Marshall Alexander. A graphic designer from the Netherlands, Marshall's love of retro design, video games and cartoons inspire him to create the most imaginative paper models and toys. He has created models for the toy industry and for use in books and magazines.

The above picture is of one of Marshall's personal projects titled, Easy Listening. It is the first model which he crated from multiple parts and includes a character, chair and a sterero-cabinet. The thing I love about his work is the little details, the 1970's-esque cardigan, the retro album cover and the graphics on the stereo.
