Majolo

We've been using a second hand Espresso machine that came from a charity shop for the past 4 years. It was slightly damaged when we bought it, but with our 'make-do and mend' attitude in my house, we put up with the spluttery coffee on the stove and the leaking coffee all over the table. The other week however we decided to buy a brand new coffee maker. It is one of those famous Bialetti ones (you know, the ones with the little man with the moustache) and I ordered it from a company called "Red Monkey Coffee".

I was so pleased with it when it came in the post. It is really well made and very sturdy (I have tested the hardiness of the coffee maker accidentally throwing it at the kitchen wall the other day, apart from a loose screw which was an easy mend, it is perfectly fine still). At the moment I am using the coffee maker with filter coffee from Waitrose. And I find that my morning cup of coffee goes really nicely with a chocolate brioche.
