I like to look at pictures of food on the internet in my spare time, it makes me feel happy inside. I get the immense joy of seeing nice food, without having all the guilt that normally comes after eating it. Today I found this recipe for a truly stunning rainbow cake on marmitelover. This blog is looked after by Kerstin Rodgers. Kerstin is a photographer, blogger, author of Supper Club and marmite lover.

The rainbow cake caught my eye today as it reminds me of a story I read as a child called The last slice of rainbow by Joan Aiken. In the story, one of the characters makes a cake with a piece of rainbow, and I can remember the picture in the book looking almost identical to this cake.
