Majolo

This is a short animated film that I found on Youtube. The story is of 2 friends who accidentally find themselves to be passangers on a airship.

The thing I love most about this animation is the colours which are lovely, warm, rich, sepia tones. The whole thing flows so smoothly that you get this wonderful feeling of movement. And there is a twist at the end of the story too.

Paul Grimault was born in 1905 and was one of the most important french animators. He died in 1994 but was producing animations until the late 1980's.
